Well, I’ve been working on our life list with Chris since this post back in September. Haha. I guess you could say it has taken us a little while to finish it. I was recently inspired to finish it by a post from, you guessed it, Kelle Hampton, called New. It’s absolutely beautiful and such an inspirational post. She challenged everyone to share 5 things from their bucket lists and everyone’s responses were so awesome! I got some great ideas from the comments on her post to add to our list. And I absolutely loved this outpouring from her heart:
“But I think just by wanting to be more subtracts the “enough” from “good enough” and what you are left with is good. We are good moms and wives and daughters and friends because we recognize our faults, embrace our imperfections, create meaningful challenges and weave them all together in some brilliant tapestry of wanting to be better, to be more. That, in itself, makes us pretty damn good.”Powerful.
Chris and I both want to be more this year, be good. We might not be good “enough”, but we’ll be good.
We hope to be able to cross a few things off of our life list this year. It’s going to take some time (a lifetime!) to get to all of them, but we’re going to have a blast checking them off one by one! Without further adieu, here are some of the top picks from our life list:

What a great list! Maybe Brandon and I should start working on one, since these types of lists to do take a while. I also want to go to a taping of the Today Show! It is a must-see! And if you ever make it to the Great Wall of China, it is breathtaking!!! I was there in college and there is nothing like it.
Thanks! Yeah, you should totally come up with a list! We have 100 items on ours. Some of the items we’ve already checked off but we still have quite a few to do!
The Today Show is definitely a must-see! I’ve always loved it. Oh wow! I can’t believe you’ve been to the Great Wall of China! That’s amazing!
